Fantastical Becoming celebrates the imagination, courage, and possibility of trans and nonbinary lives. Featuring trans and nonbinary members of NYCGMC alongside the Youth Pride Chorus, this Trans Day of Visibility concert centers the voices of people defining themselves on their own terms. Through music and storytelling shaped by our performers and communities, Fantastical Becoming honors identity as something expansive, personal, and full of possibility. Audiences of every identity are invited to listen, celebrate, and stand in meaningful solidarity with trans and nonbinary people becoming more fully themselves. Becoming is a free concert that is part of The Cooper Union’s Gardiner Foundation Great Hall Forum series.
