WHO WE ARE
Youth Pride Chorus brings together LGBTQ+ and allied young people from across New York City to make music, build community, and express themselves fully. Created in partnership with the NYC LGBT Community Center and Big Apple Performing Arts, YPC extends NYCGMC’s mission to a new generation of singers.
Our Mission
Youth Pride Chorus gives LGBTQ+ and allied young people a place to find their voice, build confidence, make music, and belong to a community that celebrates who they are.
Who Can Participate
YPC welcomes LGBTQ+ and allied young people ages 13–21 from across New York City. No prior singing or choral experience is required.
No Cost to Join
Participation in Youth Pride Chorus is completely free, including rehearsals, performances, and mentorship. Cost should never be a barrier to finding your voice and your community.
